By using Loftmate, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Loftmate

Loftmate is a software-as-a-service platform for pigeon fanciers that includes loft management, pigeon records, pedigree building, race logging, and a public loft page. By accessing or using the service you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Loftmate. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Subscription & billing

Loftmate offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription billed monthly or annually. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Loftmate to:

  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts.
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to Loftmate, including photos, bird records, and pedigrees. By uploading content you grant Loftmate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display it solely to operate and improve the service.

You can delete your data at any time via your account settings.

6. Intellectual property

Loftmate and its logos, design, and software are the property of Loftmate. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the service.

7. Changes to the service

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect existing functionality.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via the service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Loftmate after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loftmate disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Loftmate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loftmate's total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Loftmate in the 3 months preceding the event or (b) £100.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
